You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push! [Laughs].

Batman: The Dark Knight, who could not love this movie? Christopher Nolan's direction definitely defined our famous super hero perfectly. Of course much like other I fell in love with Heath Ledger portrayal of The Joker. So I decided to draw this famous scene where the Batman (Christian Bale) is about to run over with The Joker with his Batmobike (if that is a word).

This drawing began December 22nd 2008 to January 15th 2009. The outline was the most difficult part the rest was a breeze. Just a word of awareness I understand there are still mistakes with the face and overall structure. But I am still very proud of this piece.

It’s been a long time since I drew, but I had a lot of fun with this. Hope you all enjoy!

Definitely my most favorite villain along with the T-1000 due to his unpredictability and clever plans in the film.

Hi, thanks. It took some meticulous time. I mainly worked in sections. Proportions are my weakest skills of drawing. I actually messed up on them as the head turned out bigger then the body, hence I had to widen the body area.

"You wanna know how I got these scars? My father was… a drinker and affined, and one night he goes off crazier then usual. Mommie gets the kitchen-knife to defend herself, he doesn’t like that, Not one bit! So, me watching he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it… he turns to me and he says: Why so serious? Comes to me with the knife: Why so serious? Sticks the blade in my mouth, and he says; Let’s put a smile on that face… and… Why so serious?"

:D:D:D

"You won’t kill me, out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness. And I won’t kill you because you’re just too much fun… (Ha)… I think you and I are destined to do this forever."

YEAH, I SEE YOU GOT ALL THE QUOTES DOWN!

I actually made a crappy parody video of it.

People tend to hate it, especially the fanboys.

But it was fun to do!

"How about a magic trick? I am gonna make this pencil, disappear… Ta-Da!! There it’s gone…"

"Tell them your name… Brian… Douglas. Are you the real Batman? No. No? Then why do you dress up like him!? His a symbol we don’t have to be afraid of scum like you. Jeah, you do Brian you really do? Ha?- Sus, sus, sus - So you think, Batman has made Gotham a better place? Ah, look at me… LOOK AT ME! ...You see this is how crazy Batman has made Gotham. You want order in Gotham? Batman must take of his mask and turn himself in… oh, and everyday he doesn’t people will die… starting tonight. I am a man of my word."

"Well hello beautiful, you must be Harvey’s squeeze? Uh? And you are beautiful … you look nervous, is it the scars? Wanna know how I got them? Come here, look at me. So I had a wife, beautiful, like you. Who tells me…I worry to must. Who tells me I ow a smile more. Who gambles and gets in dip... with the sharks (he!) One day they carve her face. We had no money for surgery, she can’t take it. I just wanna see her smile again, I just wanna let her know that I don’t care about the scars. So, I stick a razor in my mouth and do this… to myself. And you know what? …she can’t stand the sight of me! She leaves. Now I see the funny side… now I’m always smiling… little fight in you… I like that… then you gonna love me!"

:D:D:D

so if a ninja snuck in and took it for ransom, approximately how much would you be willing to pay to get it back? hypothetically speaking.

That is a good question. I do not know how much it would be, I would have to say it would sell for at least 300 dollars. That may seem like a lot but if I spent around 80 hours on it... and times that by a minimum wage of 7.50, that rounds off to 600 dollars. So it be about half... also the frame was expensive, so that sort of adds more to the costs and expenses.

Put it in the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition this summer. Registration just opened last week and ends July 19. You can try to sell it too, the fair takes a 10% commission though. I'm planning to put one or two of my things in there this year :D It's a good opportunity for exposure!

It really is the most amazing charcoal drawing I've ever seen... I'm still awestruck! Did you spray some kind of sealant onto the picture afterwards kyle?

anyway have a nice day, thanks for viewing my Snow picture! ^____~

Hi Tom, yes!

Charcoal is a messy medium and you always have to spray a sealant. Even if it's not charcoal like graphite I still recommend to use a fixative to save you work. Thanks for the watch and :+fave: on the Dark Knight.
